The telescope optics:
The Sky-Watcher Explorer-130PS Newton telescope is an excellent choice for demanding beginners and also receives praise from more experienced astronomers. With its reasonable 130 mm aperture, combined with a high-quality parabolic mirror, this telescope is a good versatile tool for observing the Moon, bright planets, nebulae, galaxies, and even star clusters.
The telescope mount:
The AZ5 Deluxe azimuth mount is made of solid aluminum cast for small telescopes weighing up to 5 kg, which can be easily attached with a standard Vixen/Skywatcher dovetail. However, you can also use other devices with an optional L-bracket. It comes with an aluminum tripod that can be continuously locked at any height, as well as a short extension column. Two flexible rods are also provided to operate the fine adjustments. You can also manually move the mount in each axis for quick orientation in both horizontal and vertical directions.
