The Japanese beetle

The Japanese beetle is native to Asia, more precisely, the large islands of Japan. However, it bears a resemblance to its European neighbor. Taking into account all extremities, this beetle measures 3.5 cm long and 2.5 cm wide. Its European neighbors are becoming increasingly rare in European forests and are therefore listed on the red list of endangered species.
