Omegon extension tube 2'', optical path 50 mm

On many telescopes, the focal plane is slightly recessed to allow for photographic applications. Therefore, it is no longer possible to achieve correct focus with certain eyepieces.

This is just one of the problems that the 50.8 mm extension tube can solve. By bridging the distance of the optical path, the tube allows the focuser to be in a more or less normal position.

The manufacturing quality of this extension tube is excellent. Anodized black on the outside, it also features a ribbed structure on the inside to prevent reflections.

At its base, the tube has a 50.8 mm filter thread. Each tube also has a safety groove that prevents it from accidentally falling if the locking screw is slightly loosened.

The tube is mounted via a clamping ring. Even heavy accessories are unlikely to tip over.

The length of the 50.8 mm drawtube is not counted in the "optical path" as it disappears, for example, into the focuser of the same format.
