Carbon tripod specially designed for astrophotography

The tripod has a two-section construction with carbon tubes of 40/36 mm in diameter. The tripod has a greater leg angle than normal photographic tripods for superior stability. The tripod can be transported on board an airplane as its length can be reduced to 55 cm. Ideal for everyday observation and photography, as well as for overseas expeditions.
The included equatorial mount adapter is compatible with Sky-Watcher EQ5, EQ3, EQM35, and older SP, GP, and GPD series from Vixen. An adapter for general U1/4 threads is also included, so the tripod can be used not only for equatorial mounts but also as a tripod for general photography.

Can be transported on board airplanes

The reduced length of the device is about 55 cm, which meets the hand luggage limits of major airlines. It can be carried on board as hand luggage, avoiding accidents such as damage to the carbon caused by placing it in the hold.

Large leg opening angles for excellent stability.

Each of the tripod's leg angles can be adjusted to three positions with a simple press. The leg angle of the tripod is greater than that of most photographic tripods, ensuring the stability of the tripod when mounted on an equatorial mount and telescope, even under normal use. The tripod measures about 15 cm (including the camera adapter) at the highest leg angle, allowing it to be used for low-angle photography, such as macro photography.

Compatible with a variety of supports by changing the adapter

By changing the adapter located on top of the tripod, it can be used with ordinary camera heads and equatorial mounts from other manufacturers. The included adapters are compatible with EQ5, EQ3, and EQM35 from SkyWatcher, as well as with older SP, GP, and GPD series from Vixen.

Interchangeable steel feet.

A stainless steel tip for astrophotography and a rubber tip for general photography are included as standard. They can be interchanged depending on the intended use.
