The Mountaineer 25.4 tripod

The Gitzo GT1542 carbon tripod is a lightweight 4-section tripod that perfectly supports a DSLR with a 135 mm lens (up to 200 mm). The tubes of this professional tripod are made of Carbon eXact, a carbon fiber with remarkable lightness and rigidity. These tubes are wider, with a first section diameter of 25.3 mm, for an even stiffer and more robust tripod.

The quick central column can be easily removed to provide a stable tripod at ground level and capture images from different perspectives. The tripod is also equipped with an inverted column mechanism that allows you to mount the camera between the tripod legs. The 4-section legs feature G-lock Ultra locking rings with an integrated ring that protects the system from dust and dirt. The tripod's frame has been redesigned to provide additional rigidity, and the wider angle selectors allow for even easier adjustment of each leg's angle. The tripod is equipped with a stabilizing hook on the central column to add weight and increase stability when working conditions require it. Attaching a ball head to this tripod is simple thanks to the reversible 1/4″ and 3/8″ thread.
