The telescope's optics:
The new Skywatcher Explorer-130P-DS Newtonian reflector telescope features the same exceptional optics as the Explorer-130P Black Diamond series, but with two major improvements.
A 10:1 focus mechanism has been used for greater precision during focusing, and the tube has been slightly shortened to enhance performance during primary focus photography.
Even higher performance can be achieved by using the Sky-Watcher Newton combined corrector (No. 20233), for both visual astronomical observation and photography.
