The optics of the telescope:
The new Sky-Watcher Explorer-300PDS Newtonian reflector telescope features the same exceptional optics as the Explorer-300P Black Diamond series, but with two major improvements.
A 10:1 ratio focusing device has been used for greater precision during focusing, and the tube has been slightly shortened to improve performance during primary focus photography.
Even higher performance can be achieved by using the combined Sky-Watcher Newton corrector (No. 20233) for both visual astronomical observation and photography.
