Align and control your telescope wirelessly using your smartphone or tablet and the free Celestron SkyPortal app for iOS and Android.
Tap on any celestial object you see in the sky to instantly identify it. Press the GoTo button and your telescope automatically turns to that object, perfectly centering it in the eyepiece.
Explore over 100,000 objects in the SkyPortal app database. While you observe, view images of the objects and listen to audio descriptions (English) for hundreds of the most popular objects, including planets, the Orion Nebula, the Hercules Globular Cluster, and more.
The “Sky Tour” feature generates a list of all the best stars, galaxies, and nebulae to view based on your exact time and location.
The WiFi module is compatible with all current Celestron computerized telescopes. The device requires no batteries or external power.
Simply plug the WiFi module into the hand controller or AUX port and connect wirelessly with your telescope. Instantly, your device controls your telescope wirelessly via WiFi, guiding you through the alignment process and pointing to any celestial object with a simple tap.
