Leica Ultravid 42 HD-Plus

The models in the 42 HD-Plus range are among the most compact binoculars on the market in their category. In terms of brightness, they are barely less effective than the models with 50mm objectives. The Leica Ultravid 42 HD-Plus binoculars are offered in 7x, 8x, and 10x magnifications.

The 7x magnification guarantees enormous brightness, making it the preferred choice for twilight observation. In addition, the 7x model adds incredible image stability, with hand tremors or vibrations from a motor, for example on a boat, having no detrimental effect. 

The 8x magnification binoculars are exemplary in terms of versatility. Despite their low magnification, they produce sharp and detailed images, with their relatively generous exit pupil allowing for extended observations as light declines. The remarkable field of view of the 8x magnification is particularly appreciated in forests, where it maintains excellent visual control over the observer's surroundings. The 10x magnification allows for detailed viewing at long distances – without generating too much excess weight.
