The telescope optics:
The Sky-Watcher Explorer-130P Newtonian telescope is an excellent choice for demanding beginners and also receives praise from more experienced astronomers. With its reasonable 130 mm aperture, combined with a high-quality parabolic mirror, this telescope is a good versatile tool for observing the Moon, bright planets, nebulae, galaxies, and even star clusters.
The telescope mount:
The lightweight and portable Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi mount is equipped with a built-in WiFi module that allows you to control it from your smartphone or tablet using the free SynScan app for iOS and Android. The AZ-GTi mount generates its own WiFi network, allowing it to be used anywhere without relying on foreign WiFi networks. After entering your coordinates in the app, you perform a simple alignment procedure and you are already ready to explore the universe using the easy-to-use menu on the touchscreen.
The AZ-GTi, combined with the SynScan app, is a fully computerized GoTo mount capable of automatically guiding your telescope to any desired object in the vast built-in database of over 10,000 celestial objects. The mount features patented Skywatcher Freedom-Find™ dual encoder technology, allowing you to manually move the telescope in both axes without losing the recorded position data. This gives the user enormous freedom and allows for comfortable and flexible observation.
