Triple the power

If you want to observe targets for which you need more power than your eyepieces can provide on their own, the Tri-Mag is what you need. It offers an additional 3x magnification for any 1.25" (31.7 mm) eyepiece it is fitted to.

This is particularly useful if you are doing observations of the Moon or planets, as well as for increasing the power of fast telescopes such as f/5 and f/4 telescopes and refractors. The Tri-Mag uses a “negative” achromatic multi-coated lens that effectively triples the focal length of the telescope's optics.

The body is precision-machined from aluminum and anodized black for added durability. The housing and the chrome portion of the barrel are threaded against glare and blackened inside to provide maximum contrast. The end of the barrel where the lens is located is threaded so that standard filters can be attached. Length: 127 mm. Weight: 164.43 g.
