Using cutting-edge harmonic drive technology for RA movement in conjunction with a play-free worm gear and belt design for DEC, the HEM27 offers an unmatched weight/payload ratio. Its all-black anodized metal body, CNC machined, is not only visually appealing, but it is also a robust platform that will operate at the highest level for many years. Unique features such as an electronic friction brake and a power-off memory allow the mount to safely stop and resume a GoTo rotation or continue tracking, even after a sudden power loss (no need to realign and start over). 

Advanced GOTONOVA® GOTO technology

The HEM27 is equipped with the latest advanced GOTONOVA® GOTO technology, making it one of the most powerful and precise GOTO mounts available. The library of 212,000 objects ensures that you will never run out of targets to see or photograph. The Go2Nova® remote is intuitive, and its large 4-line LCD screen simplifies the process of adjusting telescopes and locating objects. 

Integrated iPolar electronic polar finder

The HEM27 mount comes with an integrated electronic polar finder known as iPolar. This tool ensures precise alignment of a telescope, even when the polar star is obscured..
