The mount:

Weighing only 2 kg, the Sky-Watcher AZ-GTiX mount can be mounted on any tripod with a standard 3/8" photo thread.

The portable Sky-Watcher AZ-GTiX Dual Saddle altazimuth mount features an integrated Wi-Fi module that allows it to be controlled wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet using the free SynScan app for iOS or Android. It is designed to accommodate two telescopes, binoculars, or even cameras simultaneously.

The AZ-GTiX creates its own Wi-Fi network, so the mount can be used anywhere without needing an external Wi-Fi network. After entering your details into the app and performing a simple "alignment procedure," you’re ready to explore the universe using the simple menus on the app’s touchscreen. The AZ-GTiX paired with the SynScan app forms a fully computerized GoTo mount and allows you to automatically point your telescope at one of the 10,000 celestial objects contained in the app’s database.

Thanks to the "Freedom-Find™" technology developed and patented by Sky-Watcher, you can rotate the telescope in both axes at any time, even by hand, without losing position data. This gives you enormous freedom and makes observation sessions flexible and comfortable.

The mount is very quiet and can support up to 6 kg on one side or 10 kg on both sides. It accepts standard 45 mm Vixen-style dovetails. An L-bracket with an additional saddle and a 61 mm extension column are included in the delivery.

This version does not include an extension column or tripod, allowing you to use any stable photo tripod.

Cameras and telescope not included!
