The telescope mount:

The new Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi altazimuth mount, lightweight (3.9 kg) with its tripod and easily transportable, features an integrated WLAN module that allows you to control it from your smartphone or tablet using the free SynScan app available for iOS and Android.

The AZ-GTi mount creates its own WLAN network, allowing it to be used anywhere without relying on foreign WLAN networks. After entering your coordinates in the app, you perform a simple alignment procedure and you are already ready to explore the universe using the easy-to-use touchscreen menu. The AZ-GTi and the SynScan app constitute a fully computerized GoTo mount, capable of automatically guiding your telescope to any object in the vast integrated database, which contains over 10,000 celestial objects.

The mount is equipped with patented Sky-Watcher Freedom-Find™ dual encoder technology, allowing you to manually move the telescope in both axes without losing the recorded position data. This gives the user enormous freedom and allows for comfortable and flexible observation.

The Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi mount is very quiet and offers a payload capacity of up to 5 kg. It comes with a Vixen/Skywatcher-style dovetail clamp for connecting your telescope.
