The Traveler Series 1 tripod

The Gitzo GT1555T Traveler Series 1 tripod is an ultra-compact tripod made of carbon fiber. Its 5-section legs fold down to 180°, a system invented by Gitzo that allows the legs to fold over the central column even when mounted with a ball head, providing a transport size of 35.5 cm. The GT1555T offers a maximum working height of 138 cm and supports 10 kg while weighing only 1.03 kg. It is ideal for bodies with 135 mm optics (up to 200 mm). With the included short column, the minimum working height of the tripod is 20 cm, ideal for ground-level shots and macro photography.

The tripod legs are made of Carbon eXact to ensure rigidity and robustness while remaining lightweight. The locking of the sections is done with the Traveler G-lock clamping rings, the travel version of Gitzo's G-locks, specially designed to ensure locking security. Its hard rubber feet are replaceable, and it is equipped with a reversible 1/4'' and 3/8'' thread. The Gitzo GT1555T comes with its shoulder strap for easy transport.
