Gitzo Fluid pan head

The panoramic cartridge of the Fluid pan head also features an automatic disengagement system for the friction of the pan movement, the Whip-Pan, developed and integrated into the head for exceptional comfort, regardless of the desired mobility speed. This system, unlike a pure video head, allows you to change the movement speed without worrying about preset friction settings, thus preventing any unwanted movement of the tripod or play. When accelerating a movement, the friction disengages on the panoramic axis, allowing for quick and comfortable tracking of animals or moving objects. When slowing down the movement, the friction automatically re-engages, restoring the necessary finesse for low-amplitude movements.

The GHFG1 Fluid pan head is specially designed for Gitzo Systematic and Mountaineer tripods: tripods that, with their incredible rigidity, are known to be the most reliable supports in difficult shooting conditions and the most stable when it comes to wildlife photography or digiscoping. 

The vertical and horizontal swing allows for perfect balance of the camera body, but thanks to the fluid cartridge, this balance is even easier to achieve than with any other head, even with heavy equipment.
