With the optional Leica Extender 1.8x, ornithologists and naturalists can enjoy even more detailed observations even at very long distances. Using the Leica Extender 1.8x on the APO-Televid models allows for a magnification factor of 1.8. Combined with a Leica eyepiece, magnifications of up to 108 times can be achieved – for extraordinary observations at maximum distances.
