HYBRID POWER SUPPLY

The APC 42 ED combines flexible power supply with top-notch efficiency. Use standard AAA alkaline or lithium batteries, or the included rechargeable USB-C Li-ion batteries — a unique advantage in this category. Thanks to KITE's ultra-efficient prism stabilization system, the intelligent auto-sleep APC mode when carried, and the integrated compartment for spare batteries, the battery life can last up to a full year with a single set of batteries.

The APC 42 ED is designed for long-term reliability and comes with a 30-year warranty — including on the electronic stabilization system. SMARTFLOW STABILIZATION

SMARTFLOW is KITE's exclusive stabilization algorithm, designed to balance significant motion compensation with extremely stable image locking. Integrated into the KT 2.0 and KT 3.0 processors and software, the algorithm dynamically adapts in real-time, absorbing wind, hand movements, and panning while maintaining a perfectly stable image during fixed observations. The result is natural and perfectly controlled stabilization in all situations, even at high magnification.
