The Sky-Watcher NOMAD-2 2" 2x is a high-quality, versatile optical accessory designed for visual observation and astrophotography.

Visual observation: used as a Barlow lens with an eyepiece, it doubles the magnification. Its high-index glass lenses with multi-coatings ensure excellent transmission and great sharpness. It features a self-centering brass locking ring that protects the eyepieces, as well as a captive retaining screw.

Astrophotography: its optical system with 4 lenses provides excellent chromatic correction and very good flatness of the field. It is ideal for capturing high-resolution images of the Moon and planets while preserving the apochromatic performance of ED glasses. A CCD camera can be directly attached with the included adapter. A DSLR camera can also be mounted with the dedicated adapter provided (M48×0.75 ring required).

The NOMAD-2 thus constitutes a particularly versatile accessory for any astronomer looking to optimize their observations and imaging.
