The  NOMAD-4 is a high-end, versatile optical accessory designed for visual observation and astrophotography.

Visual observation: Used as a Barlow lens with an eyepiece, it multiplies the magnification by 4. Its high-index glass lenses, featuring multi-coatings, ensure excellent transmission and great sharpness. It has a self-centering brass clamp ring that protects the eyepieces, as well as a captive retaining screw.

Astrophotography: Its optical system with 4 lenses ensures excellent chromatic correction and very good flatness of the field. It is ideal for capturing high-resolution images of the Moon and planets while preserving the apochromatic performance of ED glasses. A CCD camera can be directly attached with the supplied adapter. A DSLR can also be mounted with the dedicated adapter provided (M48×0.75 ring required).

The NOMAD-4 thus constitutes a particularly versatile accessory for any astronomer looking to optimize their observations and imaging.
