Powerbank 10k 37Wh 12V

A great advantage of most small azimuthal GoTo mounts is their ease of transport. However, their mobility significantly decreases when you have to carry a heavy battery. These massive energy accumulators are often oversized for small telescopes. Until now, the only alternative was to power the mount via batteries. But then the telescope became a real battery eater.

The Omegon Powerbank 10k, affordable and compact, is kind to the environment and your wallet! It is as light as a feather and does not limit your mobility. Likewise, complicated handling with the battery compartment is no longer necessary: just connect the Powerbank 10k to the 12 V input of the mount.

The Powerbank features a lithium-ion battery with a capacity (native, @ 3.7 V) of 10000 mAh. This corresponds to 37 Wh, or 3 Ah at 12 V. It thus allows a small mount to operate for about 4 to 6 hours.

The built-in protections against short circuits, overcharging, deep discharge, and overload protect not only the Powerbank itself but also the telescope to which it is connected.

The 12 V socket (5.5 x 2.1 with + in the center) is suitable for most mounts. Note: MEADE mounts unfortunately require a different socket (5.5 x 2.5). The Omegon Powerbank 10k can be used for small azimuthal GoTo mounts. It can be used, among others, for:
