Sky-Watcher | Quattro-8S 205 mm (f/4)
The new Sky-Watcher Quattro Newton telescope series with its fast f/4 aperture ratio has been specially designed for high-quality astrophotography with short exposure times. But they are also fine telescopes for visual observation. The tube is equipped inside with very sharp-edged apertures that have been adapted to the optical path.
The 2" Linear Power Focuser with reduction features 4 precise ball bearings to guide the extension tube stably and without shifting, even with heavy accessories. The ball bearings allow for a particularly smooth adjustment with great precision, better than a rack extension. The 10:1 reduction on the second focus knob allows for very fine adjustment that will satisfy the most demanding users.
The telescope is made with a parabolic mirror made of Pyrex, which has low thermal expansion and thus allows for faster cooling times.
