The new Quattro-150P, with its short f/4 focal ratio, has been specifically designed for high-quality astrophotography, allowing for short exposure times, but it is also designed as a precise wide-field telescope for visual observation.
It comes with a four-element M48 super corrector / aplanatic reducer, including one ED element, which reduces the focal ratio to f/3.45.
Like the entire range of models, the Quattro is equipped with the Linear Power focusing system, which guides the extension tube with four precision ball bearings, allowing for great stability and no play when heavy eyepieces or cameras are used.
The drive is done by a shaft instead of a gear drive, ensuring a smooth and sensitive adjustment with great precision. The Dual-Speed version with a second focusing knob with a 10:1 reduction allows for super fine adjustment, so even demanding users are satisfied.
