Variable focal photo adapter: universal connector for 31.7 mm eyepieces

This projection adapter is a simple solution to get started in astrophotography. Use your 31.7 mm Plössl or Kellner eyepiece for beautiful photos of the Moon or planets.

Two adapters in one element

The projection and focal photo adapter consists of two parts: the projection part and the focal photo adapter. The projection part will be used with an eyepiece to achieve a large focal length for small objects, for example, for individual lunar craters. The focal photo adapter is used without an eyepiece with the telescope's focal length. It allows you to photograph the entire Moon or nebulae and galaxies.

Procedure:

Attach this adapter to a telescope with a 1.25" focuser. Insert an eyepiece of your choice - and you can observe lunar craters and planets with high magnification. You will, of course, need a T2 ring and a suitable camera with a bayonet mount.

Use the zoom in the sky

The adjustable rear part of your adapter serves to achieve a zoom effect. Pull on the sleeve to enlarge the image - and this without changing your eyepiece.
