Universal variable polarizing filter with 2’’ filter thread. This variable polarizing filter allows for continuous adjustment of image brightness. This is particularly useful for individually compensating for strong contrast differences on various observed objects. Especially when observing the moon and planets, but also during solar observation, this filter helps prevent the obscuring of the finest details.

Solar observation must only be carried out with an appropriate solar filter!!!

If you are using a Herschel helioscope and a large objective aperture, the variable polarizing filter can reduce the brightness of the observed object to a comfortable level.

The wide adjustment range of 40% to 1% light transmission and the neutral gray filter effect create an image that is both comfortable and authentic. The filter is very easy to use. By turning the two halves of the housing, the intensity of the filter can be adjusted to your liking. Filter thread 2’’ on both sides (inside/outside) to allow for the simultaneous use of other color filters.
