When higher magnifications or better image quality are required, multi-lens magnifiers are used. These high-power magnifiers are sometimes constructed in a cylindrical or conical manner.
The high-power folding magnifiers from Euromex can achieve an approximate magnification of 20x. With this level of magnification, the opening of the magnifier becomes very small, and it must be placed very close to the specimen as well as very close to the eye. For more comfortable use or for greater magnification, an Euromex stereo microscope should be used instead of a magnifier.
