IR 720 PRO Ø 31.7 mm (1.25")

The IR 640 PRO II, IR 720 PRO, and IR 800 PRO filters are red-pass filters that transmit near-infrared light above 640 nm, 720 nm, and 800 nm, respectively. They cut off visible light and transmit near-infrared light. Therefore, they can be used instead of L images when shooting in the H-alpha range or capturing planetary images to highlight surface patterns on the planet.

High contrast and sharp images

Since visible light is cut off and only near-infrared light is transmitted, one can expect to obtain very high-contrast and sharp images with reduced glare effects.

Reliable quality from Japan

Synthetic quartz glass is used as the substrate. It is stronger and more heat-resistant than the optical glass normally used, so distortion during coating is even lower than usual, and the stability and precision of the deposition surface are excellent. The filter prevents image degradation even when photographing planets at high magnification. Made in Japan by a major Japanese optical equipment manufacturer.
