The advanced 50 mm guide scope from Sky-Watcher with ED doublet lens made of S-FPL53 glass. With a focal length of only 242 mm and a focal ratio of f/4.8, it is very bright.

The scope is equipped with a very sensitive and precise helical focuser with a travel of 18 mm. For connecting your autoguider or a camera, it has a T2 threaded connection as well as a 1.25" push-fit connection for eyepieces. The rear focus of the scope can be extended from 20 mm to 60 mm by removing a 40 mm long sleeve. Here too, you will find the T2 thread and the 1.25" push-fit connection. With a maximum diameter of 60 mm and a length of 220 mm or 260 mm with the sleeve, this telescope is also very compact.

For precise alignment of the scope on the main telescope, it is equipped with guiding rings, each with 3 adjustment screws with nylon tips. The scope features a prism rail according to Vixen / Sky-Watcher standard, allowing it to be mounted on a telescope mount or any photo tripod. Additionally, an adapter with a standard finder bracket according to Vixen / Sky-Watcher standard is included for easy attachment to a larger telescope.

This compact and high-quality ED telescope provides fine stars at the focal point, allowing for precise tracking. It can also be used as a finder or high-quality lens for your camera, or simply as a Richfield telescope with upright viewing while traveling.
