What makes this eyepiece allow me to achieve such a good adjustment of my Newton telescope?
The design of the Cheshire eyepiece gives you several advantages right away: an optimized length and simultaneous adjustment of the primary and secondary mirrors.

Is there a problem with other collimation eyepieces? Yes, because only this short and optimized design allows you to evaluate the images of both mirrors without problems. A longer tube would cause some vignetting of the image, and it would not be symmetrically illuminated during focusing.
