The Traveler Series 1 tripod

The Traveler Series 1 carbon tripod GT1545T from Gitzo is an ultra-compact tripod. Its 4-section legs fold down to 180°, a system invented by Gitzo that allows the legs to fold over the central column even when mounted with a ball head to provide a transport size of 42.5 cm. The GT1545T offers a maximum working height of 153 cm and supports 10 kg while weighing only 1.055 kg. It is ideal for bodies with 135 mm optics (up to 200 mm). With the included short column, the minimum working height of the tripod is 22 cm, ideal for ground-level shots and for macro photography.

The legs of the tripod are made of Carbon eXact to ensure rigidity and robustness while being lightweight. The locking of the sections is done with the Traveler G-lock clamping rings, the travel version of Gitzo's G-locks, specially designed to ensure locking security. Its rigid rubber feet are replaceable and it is equipped with a reversible 1/4'' and 3/8'' thread. The GT1545T from Gitzo comes with its shoulder strap for easy transport.
