The new ACUTER VOYAGER MAK70 is a high-quality, high-performance Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with a 70 mm aperture. Compact and easily portable, it is ideal for observing and discovering the night sky. Thanks to its straight image, it also allows for the observation of nature and terrestrial subjects during the day. The included universal smartphone adapter lets you easily capture your observations with your phone.

The optics 

The set includes a 70 mm Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube with a focal length of 1000 mm, eyepieces providing magnifications of 50x and 100x, a 5x24 optical finder, a smartphone adapter, and a transport bag. The telescope can be complemented with optional standard 1.25" eyepieces to increase the magnification range.

The mount

The telescope comes with the user-friendly ACUTER 2D-MicroTune azimuth mount and a tripod equipped with fine adjustment knobs allowing for precise movement in azimuth and altitude. The set is presented in an attractive gift box.

The Maksutov telescope is named after Dmitri Maksutov (1896-1964), a Russian optician and astronomer who designed this type of telescope in 1941.
