The Sky-Watcher StarQuest series combines high-quality, lightweight, and easy-to-use telescopes with a practical and high-performance equatorial/azimuth mount, offered in a modern design.
The mount features two powerful clutches and precision mechanisms, with a 122-tooth gear on each of the two axes, ensuring excellent stability and allowing it to support a load of up to 3 kg.
Once the mount is set up in equatorial mode and correctly oriented towards the celestial pole, it allows for easy tracking of celestial movements thanks to the control cables, which are pleasant and simple to use.
The mount can also be used in azimuth mode, providing a versatile solution particularly suited for beginners in astronomy.
The compact and powerful Starquest-90MC Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope is ideal for observing double stars, fine details of the lunar surface, as well as the brightest planets.
Its high-resolution, long focal length optics, fully multi-coated, offers excellent contrast and great sharpness for precise and detailed observations.
The kit includes a complete equatorial/azimuth mount as well as an adjustable height aluminum tripod, for practical and versatile setup.
