The right ascension (RA) motor of the Sky-Watcher Starquest and Avant mounts allows for easy tracking of the telescope at sidereal speed. This way, you can comfortably observe an object, even for long periods, without worrying about tracking.

The motor is fully installed in an ergonomic and compact housing, even the 2 AA batteries not included in the delivery are directly inserted into a compartment of the motor housing. It can be switched to operate in both northern and southern hemispheres and is also equipped with an autoguiding input for astrophotography.
