The StarQuest DX range offers complete telescope sets that combine a selection of proven, high-quality Sky-Watcher optics with the new StarQuest DX Deluxe precision mount that gives this series its name.

These telescopes are particularly aimed at beginners but will also satisfy more experienced amateur astronomers who refuse to compromise on quality. Powerful optics in a compact format

The 127 mm StarQuest DX127MC Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, compact yet highly efficient, excels at observing double stars, lunar surface details, and bright planets.

The Maksutov-Cassegrain is a catadioptric design combining a primary mirror and a front corrector, effectively folding the long focal length into a compact telescope tube. Its high-resolution long focal length optics benefit from a multi-coating treatment that maximizes contrast and image sharpness.


The next-generation StarQuest DX mount

The next-generation StarQuest DX mount combines quality construction and lightness in an easy-to-use set, accessible to both beginners and experienced observers.

Once aligned to the polar star, the mount allows for easy tracking of celestial objects using flexible control cables. It supports a maximum load of 5 kg and rests on a sturdy stainless steel tripod, adjustable in height for optimal stability.

Equipped with 360° movements on the right ascension and declination axes, the mount can optionally receive a DC drive motor (ref. 20940) on the right ascension axis for automatic tracking.

For your first astrophotography experiences, the package includes a smartphone adapter.
