FOLDING MAGNIFIERS

When higher magnifications or better image quality are required, multi-lens magnifiers are used. These high-power magnifiers are sometimes constructed in a cylindrical or conical manner.

The high-power folding magnifiers from Euromex can achieve an approximate magnification of 20x. With this type of magnification, the opening of the magnifier becomes very small, and it must be placed very close to the specimen but also very close to the eye. For more comfortable use or for more magnification, a Euromex stereo microscope should be used instead of a magnifier.

ACHROMATIC LENS (TRIPLET)

The achromatic triplet consists of three individual lenses made from glasses with different dispersion factors. The elements of the optical system are stacked on top of each other and provide the best color correction without spherical distortion. The triplet lens system consists of two concave cemented elements attached to a double convex lens.
