Sky-Watcher | K100 Mini Virtuoso GTi

Lightweight and portable, the Sky-Watcher K100 Mini Virtuoso GTi is designed to be fully controlled by a smartphone or tablet using the free SynScan App for iOS and Android. The Mini Virtuoso GTi mount features a built-in WiFi module that generates its own WiFi network. Thus, the mount can be used anywhere without needing an existing WiFi or mobile network. After entering your coordinates in the app and performing a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the app's intuitive touchscreen menu.


The telescope's optics:

The compact Klevtsov-Cassegrain K100 optics is an interesting catadioptric design that includes a primary mirror and a secondary mirror as well as a small corrector lens to fold the telescope's focal length into a relatively small size. It is ideal for observing double stars or surface details on the Moon as well as on the brightest planets.


The telescope's mount:

The Mini Virtuoso GTi with the SynScan app allows for fully computerized GoTo control, which automatically points the telescope to one of the many celestial objects listed in the app's vast database, which contains over 10,000 objects.

It includes a tabletop mount that can be transformed into a large tripod thanks to its extendable aluminum legs for maximum comfort, portability, and versatility. With the included smartphone holder, you can take photos of the starry sky with your smartphone!
