Often, less is more - especially when it comes to weight, size, and price! The engineers at Pulsar in Lithuania seem to have followed this credo to renew the highly regarded Axion series. Pulsar's commitment to its customers and partners, based on continuity and reliability, is also emblematic of the model updates.
With the "Compact" series, the demands for maneuverability and lightness, particularly important for mountain hunters and stalkers, have been met. The magnesium housing offers high and uncompromising protection against environmental influences. It corresponds to the IPX7 protection degree.
The European-made Lynred sensor provides a resolution of 640x480 pixels to ensure maximum detail and contrast levels in all environmental and weather conditions. The image is displayed on a 640x400 pixel AMOLED screen - 8 color palettes and 3 contrast profiles allow for quick adaptation to ambient conditions. In total, 20 brightness and contrast levels are adjustable, and the screen brightness can be set to total darkness for maximum discretion during stalking or perch hunting.
The famous APS-3 batteries provide a runtime of 7 hours and are compatible with devices from the Merger and Thermion series. To further control energy consumption, it is possible to configure a shutdown after 30 minutes.
The Axion Compact devices naturally feature an integrated photo and video recorder as well as a Wifi interface that allows the screen to be streamed via the StreamVision 2 app, perform remote control functions, or transmit updates to the device.
